We’ll be working on the N-Trail at Rancho San Rafael this Sunday (Nov 2) and the following Sunday (Nov 9).

-Meeting at 9:00 am at the Basque Monument / Evans Canyon TH (softball field parking lot at RSF). Working till noon or so.
-Tools provided, bring water, snacks, gloves, sunscreen.

We had a little glitch with this web site, so here’s a quick thank you to thoise that have been helping out the past few weeks.  The working is progressing nicely with solidly built features. We have interesting rock work coming up in the much anticipated rock garden. Next N Trail work is Saturday April 12 – 9:00 am to noon

Despite Saturday’s low temps and a dusting of snow Eric, Steve, Quinn, Jed, Harlan, Jim, Lee and Anthony came out on the 1st Poedunks dig-day in ‘08 Thanks!

We armored the approach to the table top, grubbed out yet another turn and flagged the rythym section

On tap for next Saturday March 22 will be completing the turn we grubbed, building the rythym section and some berm packing/clean up before we hit the rock garden! Meet @ the RSF softball fields 9 A.M.

Thanks to the dhreno crew Steve, Eric, Curtis, Scott, Paul, Dave and sons for another big day moving heavy rocks and dirt.

The N Trail project is really beginning to take shape we will be working every weekend until the snow flies. We built another berm and a rock feature. Entrial Rehab and Realignment Progresses, May 22, 2007, Poeville, NV:

Dale and I met with Eric Crump the District Ranger to discuss our proposed improvements to the Entrail. Eric had no opposition to the flagged alignment, and he is going to seek approval by his supervisor and the Rancho San Rafael Advisory Board.

It is very exciting to be involved in this process. When built, the Entrail will be an example of mountain bikers stepping up with a solution that not only enhances the riding experience but also promotes sustainability.

Thanks to the dhreno crew and everyone else that has helped in the preliminary layout of the trail. We hope to break ground sometime in June and, with your help, work throughout the summer. I will have copies of our final proposal for review on Thursday night.
